Energy consumption at home is currently a very important topic.

This also raises the question of how much electricity does an aquarium actually consume? And what does it cost?

The good news: A Dennerle Nano Cube or Nano Tank can be operated very energy-efficiently. If shrimp, snails or dwarf crayfish are kept, the filter and light included in the set are sufficient as technical equipment. An additional heater is not necessary, as these animals do very well with the usual room temperature of 20 – 22 °C.

For a Nano Cube Complete Soil 30 L, the cost of electricity is only 0.04 € per day. And even a large Nano Tank Plant Pro 70 L only requires electricity for 0.14 € per day.
