Temperatures in the nano world

Most popular fresh water shrimp varieties prefer temperatures from 20 to 23 °C. Room temperature is very much to their liking.

When the room temperature is too low during the winter time, for example, shrimps become sluggish and inactive. The shrimps do not feel well at these temperatures and the rate of reproduction drops. The warmth-loving shrimp varieties from the lakes of Sulawesi require temperatures as high as 27-29 °C in order to remain healthy and active.

The Nano adjustable safety heater from Dennerle provides the ideal temperature to keep all the creatures in a nano aquarium feeling fine. The particularly small Nano Therm thermometer keeps tabs on the temperature for crustaceans at all times.
