Nano Light

Plants love a midday break – algae don’t
While the lighting is on, the plants’ metabolism is in full swing. Light means “work” for plants. Consequently, they are grateful for a “midday break”. This gives them an opportunity to recuperate and to break down harmful metabolic products.
The following lighting rhythm has proven effective:
- 4-5 hours of light in the morning
- Then a break of 2-4 hours without light
- Followed by 5 to 7 hours of light
A time switch provides the simplest means of controlling lighting times.
