Dosator

The Dennerle Dosator, made of high-quality plastic, works on the principle of osmosis. Water from the aquarium "migrates" through the semi-permeable special membrane into the storage container, which pushes the nutrient solution drop by drop into the aquarium via the riser pipe.

This has two effects:

1. Does the aquarium receive the amount of fertilizer it needs, and
2. The dosator becomes a "fuel gauge"

As water gradually penetrates and pushes fertilizer into the aquarium, the fertilizer-water mixture contained in the doser becomes clearer and clearer. When the contents of the storage container lose color ( S7 orange, V30 yellowish green), you know it is time to fertilize. Aquarium plants benefit from a permanent, even supply of nutrients, just like in nature. This ensures healthy, balanced plant growth and lets the aquarium shine in a magnificent, lush green. Disadvantages due to excessive nutrient levels caused by shock fertilization are a thing of the past.

And best of all: the overall lower nutrient level and the supply of nutrients to the plants according to their needs counteracts excessive algae growth.
